Terma has invested in cutting edge technology to produce the C shape bars of which Alex is comprised to ensure the very best quality product. Alex is a very sought after design in the UK as it very different to a standard chrome ladder rail with a more designer look and feel due to its shape and colour. This is perfect for family bathrooms or utility rooms due to the multiple gaps for hanging both towels and clothes. The gap between the back of the bars and the wall is 132mm meaning it has large easy access for the towels to be easily hung keeping the bathroom tidy. The Modern Grey colour is a dark grey, perfect for a mood inspired bathroom and has a matt, rough textured finish. Alex can also be fitted as dual fuel - whereby it can run on the central heating in the winter and as electric in the summer. You simply need a Terma heating element and the Terma Integrated Valve with Immersion Tube (no T piece required with this valve) to easily install as dual fuel (760h = 400w, 1140h = 600w, 1580h = 800w element)- Δ30: 1068 / Δ40: 1509 / Δ50: 2017

Delta (Δ) Ratings Explained
What is a Delta (Δ) Rating?
When discussing heat outputs, the Delta rating is the difference between the temperature of the water inside the heating system and the desired temperature of the room.
What does the value represent?
In simple terms, this value is about heat loss. Heating a room only works, if the radiator output exceeds the heat loss of the room.
We use this calculation to make it easy to choose a radiator that will have a heat output that exceeds the heat loss of the room when connected to your heating system type.

What Delta Rating should I use?
- Δ50 = Gas boilers before 2005 / Oil boilers before 2007.
- Δ40 = Gas boilers after 2005 / Oil boilers after 2007.
- Δ30 = Low temperature systems e.g heat pumps.

Why are they important?
We buy radiators to heat our homes, right? So, we need a way of knowing if a radiator is powerful enough to heat the room that we are shopping for - Watts and BTUs provide us with a value that makes its easier to compare radiators and ultimately choose the right one for our heating requirement.
