Terma aims to think differently when conceiving its towel rail designs and the Quadrus Bold has been designed to maximise heat output by having two layers of bars, a full rear layer and forward layer with gaps for towels. The flat bars with closely spaced gap differ from the standard ladder rail creating a fuller looking overall design. The front bars protrude forward from the front of the upright bars and the rear bars are suspended between the uprights which results in a large gap within which to feed the towel. The Metallic Black colour from Terma has a light sparkle to it and has a matt, rough textured finish. Quadrus Bold can also be fitted as dual fuel - whereby it can run on the central heating in the winter and as electric in the summer. You simply need a Terma heating element and the Terma Integrated Valve with Immersion Tube (no T piece required with this valve) to easily install as dual fuel (870h x 450w = 600w, 870h x 600w = 800w, 1185h x 450w = 800w, 1185hx600w = 800w element)
*These electric heating elements must be installed by a registered competent electrician. Any faults developed due to incorrect installation will not be covered under the product warranty. The suggested fuse size is calculated based on a 230V supply and whilst 230V is the nominal voltage given to homes in the UK, the actual voltage supply can vary. The registered competent electrician carrying out the installation will determine the appropriate size of fuse to use for the installation.
