Terma aims to think differently when conceiving its towel rail designs and the Rolo Towel is no different with its super chunky 40mmk diameter bars creating a very sturdy looking towel rail design. The oversized bars on Rolo Towel help offer increased heat outputs meaning this design will suffice if your towel rail is the only heat source in the bathroom. The brackets on the Rolo are located on the rear of the uprights leaving the full width of the bars free for hanging towels. The Salt n Pepper colour from Terma has a matt, rough texture. Rolo Towel can also be fitted as dual fuel - whereby it can run on the central heating in the winter and as electric in the summer. You simply need a Terma heating element and the Terma Integrated Valve with Immersion Tube (no T piece required with this valve) to easily install as dual fuel (590h = 800w, 755h = 400w, 1085h = 600w, 1360h = 800w element) Rolo is part of a unique family of products where you can buy matching radiators (electric and central heating), mirror radiators and towel rails.
*These electric heating elements must be installed by a registered competent electrician. Any faults developed due to incorrect installation will not be covered under the product warranty. The suggested fuse size is calculated based on a 230V supply and whilst 230V is the nominal voltage given to homes in the UK, the actual voltage supply can vary. The registered competent electrician carrying out the installation will determine the appropriate size of fuse to use for the installation.
Delta (Δ) Ratings Explained
What is a Delta (Δ) Rating?
When discussing heat outputs, the Delta rating is the difference between the temperature of the water inside the heating system and the desired temperature of the room.
What does the value represent?
In simple terms, this value is about heat loss. Heating a room only works, if the radiator output exceeds the heat loss of the room.
We use this calculation to make it easy to choose a radiator that will have a heat output that exceeds the heat loss of the room when connected to your heating system type.
If you don't know the room heat loss, you can use our calculator to find out.
What Delta Rating should I use?
Δ50 = Gas boilers before 2005 / Oil boilers before 2007.
Δ40 = Gas boilers after 2005 / Oil boilers after 2007.
Watts are our main unit of energy/power in the UK, commonly associated with lightbulbs and Home Energy performance certificates (EPCs).
What is a BTU?
BTUs are the unit of measurement used to portray a radiators heat output and a rooms heating requirement. 1 Watt is equal to 3.41 BTUs.
Why are they important?
We buy radiators to heat our homes, right? So, we need a way of knowing if a radiator is powerful enough to heat the room that we are shopping for - Watts and BTUs provide us with a value that makes its easier to compare radiators and ultimately choose the right one for our heating requirement.
