Product Information

Main Features:

  • Multi Temperature Control
  • Bi-Directional Valve Body
  • Guarantee: 5 Years
  • 15mm Connection
  • For pipework coming from the wall and up or from the wall to the side
  • Colour: Natural Pewter
  • Finish: Matt
Connection

These valves have a 1/2" BSP radiator connection and so will fit all radiators and towel rails in the UK. The other connection to consider is that of your pipework, these valves have a 15mm pipework connection and so will fit pipework of the same size. We have these valves available in 8mm and 10mm for those with microbore pipework.

Fitting Type

Corner valves also provide a 90-degree connection – like angled valves do – but for different pipework placement:

  • Pipework comes out of the wall, and the radiator connection is on the side.
  • Pipework comes out of the wall and the radiator has connections at the bottom.
  • Pipework comes out from the wall and bends up and the radiator connection is on the side, but the valve itself will protrude in front of the radiator, so where this is the case, we recommend Angled radiator valves.
All of our corner radiator valves come with matching lockshield valves to be fitted on the return side of the radiator or towel rail.

Control Type

Thermostatic Radiator Valves, otherwise known as TRVs, provide multi temperature control of the radiators in your home – saving energy and money! These valves have wax sensor mechanisms inside that shut off the flow of hot water to the radiator when the room temperature reached the desired level (which you set using the grooves on the TRV head as a guide – the more grooves showing, the higher the room temperature). All of our Thermostatic radiator valves come with frost protection mode, which automatically opens the valve a little bit, even when fully switched off if the temperature of the room drops below a certain level – preventing your heating system, radiator and pipe from damage caused by frozen water.

Material

These valves are made from high quality brass, which means they are strong and durable and will look great on your radiator or towel rail for years to come!

Colour

Natural pewter is textured matt grey finish that is often associated with cast iron radiators and old wine cups! These classic coloured valves are so versatile because of their neutral tones, which is why our customers pair them with white, black, anthracite and raw metal radiators alike – making them ideal for every radiator in the home.

Don’t forget to add some matching pipe covers to your basket to complete the overall look and hide unsightly pipework!

Style

Is your home a period property or does it simply ooze a vintage feel? Looking to purchase a traditional column radiator? Then these traditional wooden head valves are just what you’re looking for.

Stunning valves which finished off the Alpha black radiator perfectly .

Wouldn’t normally spend this much on a thermostatic radiator valve set but wanted something to compliment the raw column radiator. Great quality, easy to install and look great. Worth the money.

Very nice finish, a perfect understated neutral to use when you don't want to commit to a shiny silver or yellow brass finish.

Great product, looks beautiful

Hello Charlotte, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review and for sharing pictures of your installed radiator. It is always helpful for other customers to see radiators in a real life format and your pictures definitely help with that. They certainly are amazing to look at and I hope you get to show them off in the not to distant future. Kind regards, James
