4 Column Radiators FAQs

Column radiators are typically made of high-quality steel, making them a strong and trustworthy option. Originally, column radiators used cast iron, but steel heats up much quicker. If you’re after a vintage look, a black steel column radiator will definitely do the trick.

4 column radiators are available in a range of widths, so there’s no need to worry about your options. A 300x600mm column radiator will suit a smaller room, no matter how high the ceilings are, and a 600x900mm, 900x1200mm, or 1200x1500mm model will spread heat efficiently in larger spaces.

Most 4 column radiators will come with wall mounting brackets, so column feet are not required. That said, attaching feet in a matching colour can enhance the vintage style of the radiator. It will also help to support the weight, making your radiator even more stable.
