When calculating radiator size, you need to know its width, height, and depth. To measure a radiator's width, you can use a tape measure. Begin on one side of the body of the radiator, and stretch the tape until you reach the other side. Try to keep it level to ensure accurate measurement. It's the same process for measuring the height of a radiator, except you begin at the top and measure until the bottom of the radiator – not to the floor. You can also measure the depth of the radiator with a tape measure, although because this is always much narrower than its height or width you can also use a ruler.
