      Both radiators and towel rails provide heat, but how well your radiator heats your bathroom will depend on the type you choose. A towel rail’s primary function is to dry and warm towels, and also give off a little bit of ambient heat. If you have a small en-suit bathroom, or just want the convenience of fresh, warm towels, then you might want to consider a towel radiator or an electric towel rail.

      If you want to heat your whole bathroom, we recommend choosing a bathroom radiator with a BTU output that meets the room's BTU requirement.

      The best type of radiator for you will depend on the heating system you have installed. If you have a conventional hot-water system, we recommend a dual-fuel radiator. They connect to your central heating and electricity, so you can use them even when your heating is turned off.

      All our radiators come with handy installation guides to make fitting your new bathroom radiator yourself as easy as possible. However, for peace of mind, you may wish to contact a professional plumber to fit your radiator.

      To ensure you’re purchasing the right radiator for your space, you need to know the rate of heat loss (this is worked out by performing a heat loss calculation). You will then need to ensure that the BTU (British Thermal Units) output or the output in Watts of the radiator is greater than the heat loss of the space. Purchasing a correctly sized radiator will keep your bathroom warm effectively.
