Main Features:
Steel offers the lowest price tag compared to other materials, but it also offers the most diversity in terms of colour and style. Steel is a highly durable material which is important as towel rails are going to be the victims of some knocks and bangs over time and you want them to withstand that.
StyleGone are the days when the word “Traditional” implied old aged and boring. Like column radiators, traditional style towel radiators are a timeless classic that have never gone out of style. Ideal for those vintage themed bathrooms, the traditional style offers a steel frame with a column radiator at its centre.
ColourWhite is a true classic. Ideal for those who like to switch up their décor from time to time, a white towel rail won’t restrict your interior design spirit. This gloss powder-coated finish is perfectly even and looks gorgeous with the simple wipe of a cloth. White can be perceived as boring or safe, but in reality, it gives a clean and fresh impression in your bathroom. Plus, with our wide range of radiator valves and accessories, you can add a touch of colour to the radiator without it becoming overbearing within the room.
Heat SourceThis electric towel rail comes with an electric element and works completely independently from any other heating system you may have in your home and so is ideal for those bathrooms where you can’t access a central heating system or maybe guest bathrooms rooms that very rarely used. This independence is ideal for summer, providing warm toasty towels without turning on the boiler - saving energy and money.
AccessoriesThis towel rail is provided with everything required to hang the rail on the wall - brackets & masonry fixings, chrome bleed valve and blanking plug as well as all the accessories needed for the electric functionality. The electric kit includes an electric element, liquid inhibitor and instructions, an extra blanking plug for the bottom entry that won’t have the element installed. The element can be installed on either the left or right hand side of the towel rail - whichever is better for your set up.
The Talus standard element offers simple on/off control over your radiator or towel rail. Simply install into the towel radiator and then wire this element into either a switched fused spur or one with timer capabilities for more control.
When discussing heat outputs, the Delta rating is the difference between the temperature of the water inside the heating system and the desired temperature of the room.
In simple terms, this value is about heat loss. Heating a room only works, if the radiator output exceeds the heat loss of the room.
We use this calculation to make it easy to choose a radiator that will have a heat output that exceeds the heat loss of the room when connected to your heating system type.
If you don't know the room heat loss, you can use our calculator to find out.
Watts are our main unit of energy/power in the UK, commonly associated with lightbulbs and Home Energy performance certificates (EPCs).
BTUs are the unit of measurement used to portray a radiators heat output and a rooms heating requirement. 1 Watt is equal to 3.41 BTUs.
We buy radiators to heat our homes, right? So, we need a way of knowing if a radiator is powerful enough to heat the room that we are shopping for - Watts and BTUs provide us with a value that makes its easier to compare radiators and ultimately choose the right one for our heating requirement.
Our fast and easy-to-use BTU calculator can help you:
