These HB Signature Percival Black Reversible Designer Heated Towel Rails are a practical yet luxurious feature for contemporary bathrooms. Their dark metallic shade perfectly complements sophisticated monochrome décor, with their unique ladder effect making them a focal design feature. The individual rungs work to heat towels through individually, keeping them nice and toasty for when you come to use them. It’s an effective way of stopping them from smelling damp too, as they’ll dry much quicker than hung on the back of the door. Available in a variety of sizes to suit different needs; the smaller 884 x 500mm is ideal for guest room en-suites, whereas the 1592 x 500 mm is a much more accommodating length for a larger family. Crafted from high-quality steel, this is a bathroom staple that’s made to last. Confident in the workmanship of each and every product, HB guarantees these towel rails for 15 years.

The Element

The Talus digital element gives you flexibility and control over your heating system. The thermostatic heating system allows the radiator temperature range to be selected from 40-65 degrees, in 5 degree increments. The LED lights indicate the temperature setting, for at-a-glance checking.

Operation:

When set to Comfort mode, the thermostat keeps the internal temperature of the radiator or towel rail at the value set by you (using the + and – buttons). Boost mode can be used to increase the element to the maximum temperature for a period of 2 hours (not exceeding 65°C), at the end of the Boost the element returns to Comfort mode.

There are also 2 different Timer modes: 12 hour and 24 hour. When set to these modes, the element will use Boost for 2 hours, then return to Comfort mode for either 10 or 22 hours – depending on your selection – after this time, the element will use Boost again. This sequence is repeated endlessly. The final operation mode is Standby/Antifreeze. In this mode the element will not operate (meaning it won’t provide any heat to the radiator or towel rail) unless the temperature drops below 10°C, where it will use the antifreeze mode to activate the element in order to prevent any internal liquid from freezing.

Full Installation Instructions and User Guide will be provided with the element.

*The electric heating element supplied with this electric towel rail must be installed by a registered competent electrician. Any faults developed due to incorrect installation will not be covered under the product warranty. The suggested fuse size is calculated based on a 230V supply and whilst 230V is the nominal voltage given to homes in the UK, the actual voltage supply can vary. The registered competent electrician carrying out the installation will determine the appropriate size of fuse to use for the installation.
